1 INTRODUCTION

General precautions

Before carrying out any operations on the control unit, carefully refer to the present manual.
Tecomec S.r.l. declines all responsibility due to negligence and non-observance of the rules described in this
manual and damage caused by improper use of the control unit.
At the time of delivery, verify that the control unit is intact and complete. All complaints must be immediately presented
to Tecomec S.r.l. in writing.
The present booklet becomes an integral part of the manual of the control unit's sprayer. Tecomec S.r.l. is not responsible
for the machine if it does not bear the mark of one of the company's brands or if it is produced by third parties.
All of the instructions reported below refer to Geoline products distributed at the time of printing of this manual.
Based on normal product development, Tecomec S.r.l. has the right to revise and update this publication without
advance notice. Any slight differences between the instructions booklet and relative products are therefore a result of
continuous updates.
Geoline is the spraying accessories division of Tecomec S.r.l.
Whenever these two names are encountered, they refer to Tecomec S.r.l.

Safety precautions

This series of control units was designed for agricultural use.
The chosen materials are resistant to normal products for agricultural spraying and weedkilling in use at the time this
manual was issued.
Always follow the instructions on the product packages.
The handling of chemical substances can harm people and animals; use maximum care and abide by current
related regulations.
Abrasive powders in suspension can wear out the internal components (seats, actuators, valves, etc.). If necessary,
replace with original spare parts.
Power only with the foreseen voltage (12 VDC ± 10%).
Disconnect the supply voltage when taking apart or carrying out maintenance on the control unit.
Only the uses reported in the present manual are permitted.
Do not use very dense or sticky products.
Do not insert parts of the body into the valve hosetails.
Never swallow the fluids contained in the circuit.
Never exceed the operating pressures indicated in the present manual.
Always keep the pressure relief valve's outlets free of obstructions.
Thoroughly wash the inside of the unit after each treatment. Use only water. Avoid solvents and the like.
Always use original Geoline – Tecomec spare parts and accessories.

Use of chemical products

All pesticides and herbicides can be harmful to people and the environment if used incorrectly or inadvertently.
Only appropriately trained and suitably authorized people (with a permit) should use them.
Carefully read the user instructions reported on the product's container.

Residual risks

The control unit was designed and created with special devices to guarantee user safety.
