Inserting Batteries

Replace the batteries in good time when the power of
the device starts to become weaker.

1. Remove the battery compartment cov-
er from the main unit in the direction
shown by the arrow.
2. Pull the battery holder up and out of
the battery compartment and insert
four 1.5 V batteries of the AA type into
the holder. Pay attention to the correct
polarity (+/–).
3. Insert the battery holder into the bat-
tery compartment in such a way that
the two metal contacts of the holder
rest against the contacts in the battery
compartment. The holder must lock in
place in the battery compartment.
4. Slide the battery compartment cover
back onto the main unit. Press down
slightly as you do this so that it locks
in place.
