This model is for burning logs, with an additional manually installed feed to take pellets, to continue operation when
logs cannot be supplied.
The pellet stove is composed of a cast iron burner and a wall hopper assembled as shown in this document.
It operates naturally (there is no smoke extractor) and must be lit manually whether using logs or pellets.
There are two methods of operation using pellets.
Fixed output rate chosen by the user
Regulation of room temperature between a minimum and maximum output rate, without extinction or re-
ignition, using the room temperature sensor supplied with the stove, or by connecting an external thermostat.
The rules to follow for its installation are as for a wood stove, including those for the flue and ventilation. (See the
general installation instructions).

The stove must not be placed on flooring made of flammable material or which might be degraded by
heat. If necessary, place the stove centrally on a square concrete slab 100 x 100 cm, 45 mm thick, covered
on its upper surface with a reflective steel plate or reflective ceramic tiles.
