The GPC cylinder is used for the stable linear transport and
positioning of objects in the manufacturing industry. A typical
application is where high precision and torsional strength is
required, as well as many combination possibilities with handling
in different directions.
The GPC cylinder is available in piston sizes from 10 mm to
100 mm and with fixed stroke lengths from 10 mm to 200 mm,
depending on model. Stroke lengths and end positions are
adjustable and exact.
Some models of the GPC cylinder are system components in the so
called Easy-2-Combine system that allows direct mounting with
other system components from AVENTICS. This makes it easy to
build compact multi-axis systems with high precision.
The GPC cylinder can be installed horizontally or vertically with a
very compact installation ratio.
Other characteristics:
Several versions with many different flexible fixing possibilities.
Double-acting cylinders with slide bearings for heavy loads
and ball bearings for high precision.
For optimum flexibility, compressed air can be connected at
both top and side of the cylinder.
Some models with hydraulic shock absorber.
Electromagnetic micro sensors can be installed where
required for flexible position sensing.
