Preparation

Step 1

Positioning the unit

The portable humidifier unit enables a large range of action
without having to move the concentrator to another position.
The following points must be noted to ensure an optimum
supply of oxygen:
Place the unit in a well ventilated, dry, cool and dust-free
room.
Avoid smoke and pollutants. This may reduce the oxygen
concentration.
A distance of at least 25 cm must be maintained between
the unit and any walls or furniture, otherwise it may
overheat and become defective.
Do not place the unit close to a radiator or in direct
sunlight.
It may overheat and become defective.
Do not place the unit in front of heat-sensitive objects.
The air emerging from the vent on the rear of the unit has
a temperature of 50 to 60 °C.
Heat-sensitive objects may be damaged.
Step 2

Connecting cables and hoses

Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage
specified on the rating plate on the rear of the unit. Faults
may arise if the unit is operated on a different voltage.
1 Plug the mains cable into the appliance socket on the rear
of the unit and into the wall socket.
