    Informationen zum Vorbild Die E 50 war in erster Linie für den schweren Güterzugver- kehr auf steigungsreichen Strecken konzipiert, weshalb sie Beföderungsleistungen erbringen sollte, die größer waren als alle bislang in Deutschland gebauten E-Loks.
