CARE, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE OF THE MACHINE
•
Use this machine, accessories, supplies, etc. in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended,
taking into account the working conditions and the work to be carried out.
•
Check that all safety elements are installed and in good condition.
•
Do not force this machine. Use this machine for the correct application. The use of the correct machine for the
type of work to be done will allow you to work better and safer.
•
Always clean dust and dirt from the machine when you finish the work. Do not use grease solvents. Always keep
the machine clean, especially the fuel tank, its surroundings and the air filter.
•
Attention! The muffler will be hot after the engine has stopped.
•
Carry out periodic maintenance of the machine. Do not attempt any maintenance or repair work that is not
described in the instruction manual. We recommend that maintenance and repairs not described in this manual
be carried out by the Official Technical Service only.
•
Before making adjustments or repairing the machine, stop the engine and remove the spark plug wire. These
safety precautions reduce the risk of starting this machine accidentally.
•
Never attempt to make engine adjustments while the unit is running.
•
Reduce the speed of the engine when turning it off. If the engine is equipped with a fuel shut-off valve, cut off
the fuel when the engine has stopped.
•
Always make engine adjustments with the unit resting on a flat, clear surface.
•
Do not clean the equipment with solvents, flammable liquids or hard abrasives.
•
Inspect the machine before each use and check that it is not misaligned, that there are not loose or jammed parts,
nor wear or damage that may affect proper operation of the machine. If the machine is damaged, have it repaired
by an authorised technical centre before using it again.
•
Keep cutting instruments sharp and clean. Good maintenance of cutting elements reduces the chances of
incidents by being easier to control.
•
Spare parts must be original to ensure that the equipment preserves its safety.
•
Keep handles dry and clean. Greasy or oily handles are slippery and can cause a loss of control over the machine.
•
If the machine vibrates excessively, stop the engine, inspect the machine for the possible cause and repair it. If
you can not find the problem, contact the Official Technical Service.
•
To carry out the transport of the machine, remember to turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
•
Always attach the blade covers before transporting the tool.
•
When transporting the machine in a vehicle: secure your machine properly to prevent it from tipping over, spilling
fuel or getting damaged.
•
Store tools out of the reach of children when not in use.

Have the machine checked periodically by a qualified technician using only original spare parts. If you have any
