Safety instructions

CAUTION!
Risk of injury from improper installation!
• Installation must only be carried out by authorized technicians
and with the appropriate tools!
• Before disconnecting any lines and valves, turn off the pressure
and vent the lines.
• Before reaching into the device or equipment, switch off the
power supply and secure to prevent reactivation!
• Observe applicable accident prevention and safety regulations
for electrical equipment!

Preparatory work

Clean the connection lines
NOTE!
Malfunction due to unfiltered medium!
Crystallized medium or particles in the medium impair the func-
tionality of the device or result in the unit being destroyed.

Install the upstream filter.

Fluid connections

WARNING!
Burns, chemical burns through leaking medium.
• Prior to the use of aggressive media, the resistance of the
media-wetted parts must be checked.

Chemical Resistance Chart. If you are unsure, please contact your
Bürkert Sales Center.
The unit can be supplied as a flanged version and designed with
connecting thread UNF ¼-28. Arrows indicating the standard flow
direction are located on the fluid connection plates (flange and
UNF ¼-28). The flow direction can be changed by altering the
power supply (refer to "8.5. Selecting the operating mode").
