The equipment shall only be installed upon a non-combustible, heat resistant surface.
Parts that have been protected by the manufacturer and his agent MUST NOT be handled by the installer and user.
Check that the gas to be used corresponds with that indicated on the equipment label and for that which has been calibrated
by the manufacturer.
Check that all equipment elements are correctly placed and that have not moved during transport.
The lower areas of the front and side panels must be kept free from any obstruction, as this could impede combustion and/or
ventilation.
Insects, dry leaves and other matter may occasionally obstruct the Venturi nozzle, blocking the normal gas flow and causing
the gas to flow back through the combustion air opening. This could result in a fire in and around
the burner tubes and severely damage the plancha griddle.
An inspection of the Venturi nozzles is recommended either before each use or under the following circumstances:
1) A smell of gas together with slow, yellow flames on the burner
2) The plancha griddle does not reach the required temperature
3) Uneven heating
4) One or more burners do not light:
Turn off the appliance by turning the knob to the OFF position and shut off the gas supply from the regulator
There should be no flammable materials within a distance of approximately 60 cm from the top, bottom, back or sides of the
plancha griddle.
The flexible gas pipe should be no longer than 1,5 metres and must be suitable for the type and pressure of gas supplied by the
regulator, butane 28/30 mbar or propane 37 mbar.
Use only a regulator which conforms to national standards, according to the kind and pressure of gas used.
Use propane cylinders of maximum 11 Kg or butane cylinders of maximum 12,5 Kg with the corresponding regulator and
flexible gas pipe. Always stand them in an upright position.
Replace the flexible gas pipe as required in compliance with national regulations.
Any modification of the product is potentially dangerous.
Some parts of the griddle, such as the cooking plate, can become very hot. Use heat-resistant protective gloves when operating
the griddle.
