The shells of our alpine touring boots are built using alpine overlap
construction, which allows for a natural progressive f lex and ankle
articulation for ultimate downhill performance, plus the benefit of
an unrestricted upper cuff for maximum touring efficiency. When
combined with the Triax Pivot frame, overlap construction allows for
even better downhill performance with immediate power transfer in ski
mode and a smooth walking motion.
