NOTE: on JAZ 60 D the flame shuts down first and the fan
continues to rotate for 1 minute to cool the heater (post-
ventilation time).
(for JAZ 60 D only) Do not stop the heater by
unplugging. Always use the ON/OFF switch to allow the
heater to cool down, otherwise it could overheat and be
damaged.
6. Cleaning,
Storage
Before starting any
operation, shut down, unplug and let the heater cool down
for at least 15 minutes.
When cleaning, make sure that water does not enter
the unit.
Never use solvents, gasoline, toluene and similar
aggressive chemicals to clean the heater.
Regulary wipe the heater casing using a soft sponge or cloth.
For very dirty parts, use a sponge wetted with lukewarm water
and a mild detergent, then dry using a clean cloth.
Keep air inlet and fan free from dust and dirt. To clean inner
parts, gently blow compressed air through air inlet.
Before storing the heater, make sure it is perfectly cool and dry.
Store the unit indoors, in a dry and clean place.
RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Do not attempt any electrical repair yourself. If the
heater needs service or repair, contact a qualified
technician.
Do not use a faulty unit a qualified technician has
inspected and repaired it.
Fuel tank
Drain and flush fuel tank using a small quantity of clean
kerosene every 150-200 hours. Do not use water or other
substances to flush the tank.
Air intake and output filters
Every 500 hours: Inspect air filters. Remove filter end cover (1),
wash air intake filter (2) using a light detergent and dry it
thoroughly before reinstalling. Reove plate (3) and replace air
outlet filter (4) (Fig. 8).

Fuel filter (JAZ 60 D, see Fig. 9)
Inspect fuel filter every 500 hours or less.
- unscrew filter glass
- check inner cartridge
- wash cartridge using kerosene or gasoline
- clean and dry thoroughly using compressed air
Replace filter cartridge before every heating season.
Nozzle
Inspect and clean nozzle every heating season. Unscrew
nozzle from nozzle fitting. Blow compressed air through front of
nozzle to free it from remove dirt particles. Replace nozzle if
needed.
Ignition electrodes
Clean and adjust and or, if necessary, replace ignition electrode
every heating season. For electrode gaps see Fig. 10 (JAZ 10
D/20 D/20 DW/30 D/40 D) or Fig.11 (JAZ 60 D). Dimensions
are in mm.
