Battery Charge Level Status

To display the amount of charge left in the battery, press
the charge level indicator button
NOTE: The battery charge level indicator is only an
indication of the charge left on the battery pack. It does
not indicate tool functionality and is subject to variation
based on product components, temperature and end-
user application.
Inserting and Removing the
Battery Pack from the Tool
- (Fig. 3 – 3a)
NOTE: Make sure your battery pack is fully charged.
NOTE: To avoid serious personal injury, always remove
the battery pack and keep hands clear of the lock button
when carrying or transporting the tool.
Improper installation of the battery pack can cause
damage to internal components.
Inserting the Battery Pack into
the Tool - (Fig. 3)
• Align the battery pack with the rails inside the sander's
battery port.
• Slide it into the battery port until the battery pack is
firmly seated and ensure that you hear the lock snap
into place.
Removing the Battery Pack from
the Tool - (Fig. 3a)
• Press the release button and firmly pull the battery
pack out of the battery port.
• Insert battery pack into the charger as described in the
charger section of this manual.
Inserting the Motor Body into
the Plunge Base - (Fig. 5 & 5b)
• Open the lock lever of the trim base, making sure the
spindle lock button is facing front, then insert the tool
into the plunge base all the way aligning the groove on
the tool with the protrusion on the plunge base.
• Close the lock lever.
• To remove the base, follow the installation procedure
in reverse.

Inserting the Motor Body into
the Trim base - (Fig. 5a)
• Open the lock lever of the trim base, making sure the
spindle lock button is facing front, then insert the tool
into the trim base all the way aligning the groove on the
tool with the protrusion on the trim base.
• The Trim base pinion will engage with the rack on the
motor. Turn the trim base knob clockwise to lower the
router into the base and to set the router height.
• The Trim base pinion will engage with the rack on the
motor
• Turn the trim base knob clockwise to lower the router
into the base and to set the router height.
• Close the lock lever.
• To remove the base, follow the installation procedure
in reverse.
CAUTION:
trim base, be sure to install the dust spout on the
trim base.
To adjust the locking clamp
lever's clamping force - (Fig. 5c)
• Open the body clamp.
• Using a hex spanner turn locking lever adjustment
screw in small increments.
• Turning the screw clockwise tightens the lever, while
turning the screw anticlockwise loosens the lever.
Fitting Router Cutters/Bits
- (Fig. 6 – 6b)
• Insert at least 3/4 of the shank length of the cutter (1)
into the collet.
• Press the spindle lock until the router spindle is locked
(you may need to turn the spindle slightly to engage it).
• Tighten the collet nut with the spanner. Do not use
excessive force.
Removing Router Cutters/Bits
- (Fig. 6 – 6b)
• Press the spindle lock until the router spindle is locked.
.
• Undo the collet nut with the spanner.
• Keep turning the spanner until the collet nut tightens
and then loosens again. This is the fail-safe mechanism
releasing the collet.
• The cutter should now slide out.
• Each time you finish using a cutter, remove it and store
it in a safe place.

When using the tool with the
