FA 60 206 00 & FA 60 206 01
Rope grabs FA 60 206 00 and FA 60 206 01 can be connected to and
disconnected from the lifeline at any point along the cable. Follow the
markings on the above and pull in the opening direction while turning the
plate clockwise to open the rope grab. After attaching the rope grab to the
cable, return the plate to the closed position and make sure the shaft has
gone back into its housing properly. Use an EN362-compliant connector
to connect the fall arrest system to the rope grab by passing the connector
through the holes in the plates, which should then be locked.
Counter plate installation
The end and intermediate components are clamped in place using
counter plates and threaded rods. Nuts and lock nuts to prevent the
assembly from working loose are threaded onto the threaded rod.
The FA 60 204 00 post is secured in place with the M12 x 25 mm hex
head bolt (provided with the posts). Apply some thread lock and screw
directly into the threaded hole in the post head.
The FA 60 216 90 corner piece is secured in place with an M12 x 45
mm hex head bolt (provided with the posts). This component can be
fitted onto either of the two holes located on the sides of the shoulder
at the top of the post.
Clamp installation

fitted onto either of the two holes located on the sides of the shoulder
at the top of the post.

Data plates must be fitted near the system and its access points to
provide the information needed by users on the length of the system,
the available clearance, the maximum number of users and the dates of
the periodic inspections.
The data plates also show the system manufacturer, system installer,
system name, the standard the system complies with, the installation
date, the reception date, the pictogram warning users to read the manual
prior to use and the pictogram warning users that PPE must be worn.
The data plate must be filled in by the installer and the competent person
during periodic inspections using an indelible marker.
