5
Markings on each component present and legible
Inspect the general state of each anchorage device component: ensure absence of corrosion, deformation and cracking.
6
Check the state of the cable; there should be no signs of thread breakage, deformation (kinks or broken strands, etc.), crushing,
7
unwinding or oxidation.
Inspect the general state of each anchorage device fixing interface: ensure absence of corrosion, deformation and cracking.
8
9
Check the general state of fasteners and their tightness (verify the tightening torque)
Check that the fixings have anti-loosening systems (lock nuts or washers)
10
11
Check that the seals are in place and undamaged.
Check the lifeline tension; the absorber must be in contact with the tension indicator (see absorber description in this manual)
12
13
The absorber must not be deformed beyond the tension indicator and the protective housing must be in place and not open
14
Check that the crimped ends have been assembled using the correct number of crimps in accordance with the installation manual.
15
Check that the cable has not slipped on the outside of the crimped ends (indicator)
16
Check that the shackles are correctly tightened
Check that the split rings are present and fitted correctly to the tensioner and crimped clevis shafts
17
Inspect the general state of the rope grab: ensure absence of corrosion, deformation and cracking
18
Check the opening/closing and locking system
Check that the rope grab runs freely over the entire length of the system.
Check that it cannot come free from the cable
Mark the date of the next inspection.
Check that a data plate is present on each device and each device access and that the data has been correctly filled in and is legible.
19
Mark the date of the next inspection
20
Check that the system has been installed in accordance with the installation instructions
21
Check the state of the connectors as shown on the inspection sheet (locking/opening, wear, etc.).
22
Check that the crimped clevis has not worked loose and that it is in the shortest position (see the crimped clevis technical description
drawing in the technical file).
23
Check that the system has not been modified in any way
