CHASSIS ATTACHMENT:
The decoder comprises three diferent pieces: a rear cover, a circuit, and a front curved cover.
Attach the rear of the box to the wall using the plugs and screws supplied.
Attach the circuit te the rear of the box.
Pass the cables through the bottom of the decoder.
Slide the front of the decoder over the track in the rear cover.
CONNECTIONS
Connect the power cables in the connectors 1 and 2 of the mother board, following the indications of the mother board.
PROGRAMMING
MANUAL PROGRAMMING
Press the programming microswitch for one second. A long acoustic signal indicates that the system has entered
!
the programming mode. Insert the cards or bring the proximity keys close to the reader connected te the
decoder. If no new code is recorded ina a space of 10 seconds, the decoder leaves the programming mode and
activates the operation mode.
PROGRAMMING WITH PORTABLE PROGRAMMER
Never extract nor insert the memory card when the decoder is in programming mode. It is essential to switch to
STOP
the operational mode and switch off the power supply, otherwise the memory could be affected.
Extract the memory card from the decoder and insert it into the connector of the MANAGER portable programmer.
Carry out the necessary operations (recording of reserve codes, copies, etc.) and re-insert the memory card into the
decoder.
DELETION OF MEMORY
Once a code is recorded in the memory card, it cannot be deleted individually. The codes recorded there can only be eliminated
by erasing the entire memory (performing a "system reset"). To erase the entire memory, press the programming microswitch
for 2 seconds. The device will emit a series of short, intemittent acoustic signals, resetting the memory and setting the decoder
in the programming mode, ready to record new codes.
Observation: in the hypothetical event of the decoder memory being affected by some unusual external factor, the unit will emit
an intermitent acoustic signal when the smart card or the key proximity are activated.
Note: Individual deletions of codes can be made in the additional insertable memory of the decoder, being of 126 or 500 codes,
by means of the portable programmer. With a memory of only 31 codes in the base card, it is impossible to carry out the
functions of the MANAGER or MINIMAN portable programmer.
CODE REPLACEMENT
This function enables you to cancel any lost or robbed smart card or proximity key, using the same codes and without the
necessity of having the decoder present in order to cancel the lost code. By means of a MANAGER or MINIMAN portable
programmer and knowing the code, you can change the "Replacement Number", from "0" to "3" (0 is the first smart card or
proximity key delivered by the factory, and 3 the last "replacement" before setting the code as obsolete in the installation). The
system permits such "replacements" from a new smart card or proximity key, changing the code and "Replacement Number"
(see MANAGER portable programmer manual). Emitting the code to the decoder, the new replacement number will cancel the
previous one and will be automatically updated.
In the installation, the user must activate the smart card or proximity key. The decoder updates the new element, cancels the
previous one, and activates the corresponding operation in the decoder, at the same time.
USE OF THE DECODER
This decoder is designed to operate automatic garage door openers, provide the movement signals to control boards and
connect/disconnect alarms.
No warranty is offered for USE in direct activation of units other than those specified.
IMPORTANT ANNEX
In compliance with the European Directive low-voltage electrical equipment, we hereby inform users of the following
requirements:
