HEAD-ASSEMBLY LOCK PIN
The saw should never be locked in the down
position when operating .
To raise head assembly:
1. Push the saw handle down as far as it will go.
2. Pull out the head-assembly lock pin and hold it
(Fig. 8).
3. In a controlled manner, allow the head assem-
bly to rise to the up position .
NOTE: When transporting or storing the cut-off
saw, the head assembly should always be
locked in the down position.
To lock down head assembly:
1. Pull out the head-assembly lock pin and hold
it .
2. Push the saw handle down to the lowest po-
sition .
3. Engage the lock pin to lock the head assem-
bly in the down position.
