3. OPERATION AND CONFIGURATION

The feedback module can only be programmed with the Nikobus PC software provided.
Manual programming is not possible. Also the feedback LEDs will only function if they
have been programmed via the PC software.
Connect the feedback module with the serial port (COM) to your pc. Does your pc not
have a serial port, use the supplied USB adapter.
Operation without touch screen
1. Add the feedback modules that you have installed to the PC software.
2. Add also the bus push-buttons with feedback LEDs to the PC software.
Attention: Per feedback module you can connect up to 24 feedback bus push-buttons.
Operation with touch screen
1. Add the feedback modules and bus push-buttons with feedback LEDs that you have
installed to the PC software.
2. Define the function of each bus push-button on the touch screen.
For the operation of the touch screen, refer to the touch screen manual.
Attention:
- Per system you can connect up to 5 feedback modules, and therefore 5 touch screens.
- Per system you can connect up to 24 feedback bus push-buttons.
