ALWAYs reAD tHe instruCtions BeFore using tHe AppLiAnCe.
When you use electrical appliances, you need to take special precautions, including:

Before using the appliance for the first time, remove everything from the packaging and wash
the parts (see section on "CLEANING")

Make sure that the voltage of your appliance corresponds to that of your mains power supply.

Do not leave the appliance unattended when connected to the mains power; disconnect it after
each use.

Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather (rain, sun, etc.)

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, senr r
sory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given sur r
pervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Never leave the appliance on or near to sources of heat.

Make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with any hot surfaces.

NEVER PLACE THE MOTOR BASE, PLUG, OR POWER CORD IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS – WIPE
CLEAN USING A DAMP CLOTH ONLY.
10 Do not operate the appliance when empty.
11 unplug the appliance when it is not in use, before cleaning it, and before fitting or
removing parts and attachments.
12 During use, place the appliance on a flat surface with sufficient lighting.
13 Do not carry the appliance by means of the blender jug when it is set onto the motor base, in
other words the blender jug handles are not to be used as a means for carrying the appliance
14 Never use the appliance if the power cord or plug are damaged or if the appliance is faulty; in
this case, take it to your nearest Authorised Assistance Centre.
15 To eliminate any risks, if the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
technical assistance centre or in any case, by a similarly qualified person.
16 The use of not original or not authorized accessories jeopardizes the safety and proper funcr r
tioning of the appliance
17 Do not leave the power cord hanging from table tops or from the top of any other flat surface.
Never place the power cord or the appliance on heated or hot surfaces.
18 This appliance has been designed for HOME USE ONLY and may not be used for commercial or
industrial purposes.
19 To prevent accidents or damage to the appliance, always keep hands and cooking utensils well
away from blades and any moving parts.
20 Always make sure that the motor has been completely switched off and that the appliance has
been unplugged before opening it.
21 To prevent the appliance from overheating, never apply too much pressure on the citrus press
or leave the appliance to operate for longer than 10 minutes at a time.
22 If you press down too hard on the citrus press, the motor will tend to block and reverse the rotar r
tion direction very quickly; lighten the pressure on the lever and the motor will resume normal
operations.
