Gate Installation
WARNING
Distance between gate frame and door frame
should be equal on both sides, and NEVER exceed
2.75 in. (6.9 cm). If 2.75 in. (6.9 cm) is exceeded,
move to the next configuration on page 2.

3. Push four adjustment bumpers
into the corners of the gate frame
or the frame extension

NOTE: Make sure the adjustment
bumpers are pushed all the way in.

on floor in

that it is straight up and down
(90º to the floor).
NOTE: Adjustment bumpers
may mark some mounting
surfaces.
NOTE: If not installing gate at
top of stairs, go to step 8.

Mounting Cap Installation
NOTE: If not installing gate at top of
stairs, go to step 8.
5. Peel backing off one side of adhesive
pad
. Adhere pad to outside of

mounting cap
, as shown.

Peel backing off other side of adhesive
pad, and place mounting cap over end
of adjustment bumper
NOTE: Make sure gate stays straight

up and down (90º to floor) during this
process.
Slide adjustment bumper
gate frame toward door frame, until
mounting cap sticks to door frame.
Repeat this for other three mounting
caps.
6. Once all four mounting caps are

in place, use supplied screws
secure mounting caps to door frame.
Tighten all four screws securely with
handheld Phillips screwdriver, but do
not overtighten.
NOTE: If mounting to drywall, mark
center of mounting caps. Pull mounting
caps off wall. Drill holes and insert wall
anchors
. Secure mounting caps with

screws. Tighten all four screws securely
with handheld Phillips screwdriver, but
do not overtighten.

7. Position gate
on floor in line with

mounting caps.
