Locate the AdvanTEXT device to an area with better cellular
reception, away from metal objects, or higher elevation
Locate the AdvanTEXT device to an interior wall, away from a wall that is
adjacent to soil
Power off the AdvanTEXT device for 10 seconds and then power it
back on
Ensure the polarity of the batteries are correct. The negative (-) end of the
battery touches the spring in each holder
Use only alkaline batteries. Do not use "heavy duty" batteries
