d) Reinstall the cable clamp to secure the wire.
e) Reinstall the front cover.
3. Position the unit on the wall as in the Mounting section above. Now fasten
the unit to the mounting bracket with the supplied screws. Note: Do not
connect the water at this time this will happen in the Connect Water section
of this manual, connecting water at this point would cause electric damage
to the unit and potentially your property.
4. The units can be connected to a plug and plugged into the corresponding
receptacle (refer to Figure 5) or it can be hardwired in a junction box to a
correctly sized breaker and AWG wire size. Check with your local electric
codes if the hardwire option is to be selected. The NEMA and HBL prefixed
number under each plug configuration refers to the NEMA and Hubbell
Incorporated model of this plug. The L, N, G refers to Load, Neutral and
Ground respectively.
a. CAUTION: CONNECT ONLY TO A CIRCUIT PROTECTED BY A
CLASS A GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER.
b. USE COPPER CONDUCTORS ONLY.
c. CANADA: USE BONDING CONDUCTOR IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
CANADIAN ELECTRICAL CODE, PART I. A green terminal (or a wire
connector marked "G", "GR", "GROUND", or "GROUNDING") is
provided with the control box. To reduce the risk of electric shock,
connect this terminal or connector to the grounding terminal of the
electric service or supply panel with a continuous copper wire in
accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.

flashing indicate 2.4kw. 4 LED lights flashing
indicate 3.4kw.
