Action
WARNING: Safety interlock system failure and improper operation of unit can result in death or
serious injury. Test this system each time the unit is operated. If this system does not function as
described, do not operate until repairs are made (see Safety Interlock System on page 12).

Engage parking brake and engage transmission bypass lever (see Moving the Unit with the Engine Off on
page 17). Push unit. If unit rolls, contact your Ariens Dealer.
Clean engine, battery, seat, mower deck, etc. of all dirt and debris. Do not use solvents, high-pressure
sprayer, hard cleaners or abrasives.
NOTE: Protect painted surfaces with automotive type wax.
See Specifications on page 34 for correct tire pressure.
