SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Always follow these safety cautions when using this appliance to avoid personal injury or damage
to the appliance . This appliance should be used only as described within this instruction book .
CAUTION: The polyethylene bags around the appliance or the packaging can be
dangerous . To avoid any risk of suffocation, keep these bags out of the reach of babies
and children . These bags are not toys .
• U se this appliance according to the instructions in this manual only.
• D o not immerse the motor housing in water or any other liquid.
• A lways place the motor housing on a clean, dry, level and stable surface.
• A lways disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling,
disassembling or cleaning . Never leave the appliance unsupervised when it is plugged in . To
unplug, pull on the plug and never on the lead .
• N ever place the appliance on or near a heat source.
• N ever let the lead hang over the edge of the work surface, and never let it come in contact with
hot surfaces .
• N ever operate the appliance when it is empty.
• N ever move the appliance when it is running.
• N ever leave the appliance unsupervised when it is running.
• N ever handle the appliance with wet hands.
• D o not use the appliance if it has been dropped or if it appears damaged.
• T o avoid overloading the electrical network, make sure you do not plug other high-power-
consumption appliances into the same circuit .
• Stop using the machine immediately if the cord is damaged.
• I f the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard .
• T he user should not attempt to repair the appliance.
• T his appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand
the hazards involved . Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are aged from 8 years and above and supervised . Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach
of children aged less than 8 years .
