Installation
Fastening the heater on a side of a barrel is not complicated. Heater
will be fastened with its' own two threaded pipes and nuts. The
fastening system can be used on wall thickness between 35-42mm.
Bolts and nuts for fastening plates (see picture) are included in each
delivery.
Place the heater close to the tub on the installation height so that it is easy to move it. It is
easier if you can ask someone to assist you when installing. In that case
one of you can stand in the tub and the other one moves the heater.
When the heater pipes are close to the holes, you can use some support
(e.g. planks / bricks) beneath it. Push the heater pipes through the holes
on the barrel. When both of the pipes are through, fasten them with 75mm
nuts. Before this you should insert some silicone around the pipe between
pipe and wood.
After this, fasten the heater on the barrel with the plates (picture on
right). Fasten the plates on the heater. Mark the places for the holes
onto the tub, if not drilled yet. Drill the holes and fasten the lock bolts
from inside of the barrel through the plates with nuts. The convex end
of the lock bolt goes inside the tub. Hit the bolt so it sinks a bit inside
the wood wall. Don't forget to put the washer in between the plate and
nut. The heaters fixing plate has inside thread for bolt so you do not
need a nut on that side.
The heater will be hanging on the wall of the tub by the hoses and plates
Installation further away from the tub
The standard heater should not be installed further away from the tub. If you are planning
installation further away from the tub then you should purchase a special version with extra
emptying valve + air release valve on top. And also separately ordered pipes between the
heater and the tub and an extra set of fixing hoses and clamps. When installing further away
the heater must be a bit lower than the tub do that the natural circulation of heated water
works. Remember to install the emptying valve and air release valve on the heater in this

Drill the holes of more than 76 mm on the
tub. Glue the gaskets, which seal the connection between the heater
and the barrel, on the heater pipes before the fastening. Insert some
silicone in front of the gasget around the pipe. This is to guarantee
the watertightness of the tub. If the heater is purchased with Kirami
tub, the 76mm holes are predrilled and M8 lockbolts and nuts are
installed on the tub.
It is recommended to use some soap when fastening, so that you don't
break the threads. Alternatively, you can use a small amount of pipe
tape. After this you can tighten the heater with a tightener included in the
delivery. When the gasket squeezes clearly between the heater and the
tub, you have fastened enough. Be careful neither to fasten too tight
so that the gasket pops out nor to damage the threads.
