3. Check oil after every 50 hours of operation.
NOTE: To prevent oil leakage when transporting pump,
close air vent.

4.4 Connecting the Air Supply
1. Connect a 22 CFM (minimum) air supply to the 1/4"-18
NPT air inlet port. A minimum of 60 PSI air pressure is
required to operate the pump.
2. Equip air line with an air filter-lubricator. The Enerpac
regulator-filter-lubricator
recommended for use with all Enerpac air-operated
pumps. The RFL-102 regulates the air pressure for
desired working pressures, filters the input air for
protection of the system, and lubricates pump with a fine
mist of oil vapor.
WARNING: Do not operate pump above 100 PSI air
pressure.
Exceeding
equipment damage which can cause personal injury.

5.0 OPERATION
5.1 Priming the Pump
If the pump fails to deliver oil with the control valve in the
advance position and the air motor operating, the pump
may have lost its prime.
1. With all cylinders retracted, check reservoir oil level. Fill
if necessary and return fill plug.
2. Tip the pump on its side with the control valve up and
the air button down.
3. Jog the air button several times. This will allow air which
is
may be trapped in the inlet tubes to escape and be
replaced by hydraulic oil.
IMPORTANT: Check pump reservoir and add Enerpac
hydraulic oil as needed.
5.2 Adjusting Hydraulic Pressure
The hydraulic output pressure is controlled by the air
to
pressure to the system. The approximate ratio of hydraulic
pressure to air pressure is 100:1.
1. To increase the hydraulic pressure, increase the air
pressure.
NOTE: The maximum hydraulic pressure obtainable is
10,000 PSI. The maximum recommended air pressure
is 100 PSI.
2. To decrease the hydraulic pressure, decrease the air
pressure.
NOTE: The minimum recommended operating air
pressure is 60 PSI.
5.3 Advancing and Retracting Cylinder
1. Check all hydraulic and air connections.
2. Open the air supply shut-off valve and adjust the air
regulator for approximately 100 PSI.
