WARNING:

DANGER:
Keep all body parts (hands, feet, face, etc.)
away from moving blades. Contact with moving blades will
result in serious personal injury.
HOLDING THE UNIT
•
Stand in the operating position (Fig. 9). Stand up straight. Do not
bend over.
•
Keep feet apart and firmly planted.
•
Hold the unit with a firm grip.
•
Hold the rear handle with the right hand. Keep the right arm
slightly bent.
•
Hold the front handle with the left hand. Keep the left arm straight.
•
DO NOT cut above shoulder height.
ADJUSTING THE CUTTING ANGLE
WARNING:
To avoid serious personal injury and
damage to the unit, turn the unit off and wait for all moving
parts to stop before adjusting the cutting angle.
Adjust the cutting angle, as needed:
1. Pull and hold the angle adjustment ring (Fig. 10).
2. Rotate the motor housing to the desired angle. There are several
predefined positions. Each position is marked by an arrow (Fig.
11).
3. Release the angle adjustment ring.
4. Make sure the motor housing and handle are securely locked in
place.
NOTE: The unit will not start if the handle is not securely locked into
one of the marked positions.
