Users of these devices should immediately consult their doctor to avoid any potential
problems related to their use.
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING
Maintenance planning for the unit must take into account the degree and circumstances
of use of the unit. Proper use and preventive maintenance help to prevent defects and
unnecessary malfunctions. Carry out the checks in accordance with the standards and
legislation in force. Only workers with adequate electrical engineering qualifi cations may
work on the equipment.
WARNING !!!
Any manipulation of the power supply, including maintenance, requires its disconnection
from the power line. To avoid injury, always disconnect the power cable and wait at least
2 minutes before removing the housing. Discharge the capacitor circuits before any other
intervention.
Periodic maintenance includes cleaning the unit every six months:
1. Unplug the unit from the outlet and wait about 2 minutes (the capacitors inside the unit
will discharge). Then remove the upper housing from the unit.
2. Clean all dirty electrical connections and tighten any loose ones.
3. Clean the internal parts of the unit (especially the coolers) to remove dust and dirt - for
example, with a soft brush and vacuum cleaner.
4. The upper housing must be grounded - remember to connect the yellow and green
ground wire before screwing it in.
5. After the maintenance, carry out safety measures in accordance with the standards in
force.
Note: Never use solvents or thinners (e. g. acetone) as they may damage the insulation,
plastic parts and markings on the front panel!
