Turn off the main supply valve, vent the area, call a qualified service agent.
Pilot burner not lit.
Wait 5 minutes to allow gas to dissipate, then light the pilot burner.
Cooking surface not
Allow the cooking surface to cool down and clean while still warm; then season the top.
