INTENDED USE
The tile cutter is suitable for cutting glazed, enamelled and ceramic tiles as well as (porcelain) stoneware and split tiles with a thickness
ranging between 4 and 14 mm and a length of 670 mm. Depending on the type of tiles and their thickness, a minimum cutting width
of 15 mm is possible.
The height of the tile will be pre-set via a slide (Fig. 7), with the cutting force being set by an adjusting lever (Fig. 8).
Ideally, the tile should be broken as close as possible towards its end, in the case of diagonal cuts the breaking rod should completely rest on
the tile.
Parts of larger tiles can be prevented from falling down by using the supports supplied.
Parallel cuts and angular cuts of 45° can be carried out with the angle guide which can be attached on both sides of the tile cutter.
Repeat cuts between a minimum cutting width of 50 mm and a maximum of 300 mm will be possible with an edge guide.
A precise diagonal cut requires the use of a guiding aid.
Only suitable cutting wheels (with a diameter of 20 mm, a thickness of 3 mm and a cutting angle of 110°) and the original cutting
wheel mounts must be used.
The user shall be liable for any damage and accidents that have been caused by the improper use of the equipment.
