OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: Read and thoroughly understand all instructions in this manual and on safety decals
before assembling or operating this log splitter. Failure to do so may cause serious injury or death.
Do not allow anyone to operate this log splitter who has not read this manual. As with all power
equipment, a log splitter can be dangerous if assembled or used improperly. Do not operate this
log splitter if you have any questions concerning safe operation. To get answers to any questions,
call our technical support department at 1-800-525-8322.
WARNING:
DO NOT PLACE YOUR HANDS UNDER THE SHIELD WHILE ENGINE IS RUNNING. WAIT
A MINIMUM OF THIRTY (30) SECONDS FOR THE FLYWHEEL TO STOP AFTER THE
ENGINE IS TURNED OFF TO START ANY ADJUSTMENTS.
WARNING:
AT NO TIME, WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING, PLACE YOUR HAND IN BETWEEN THE
LOG, THE WEDGE AND THE RAM. ALWAYS KEEP YOUR HANDS CLEAR OF MOVING
PARTS
WARNING:
NEVER ATTEMPT TO CROSS SPLIT A LOG
NOTE: Set the log splitter in a clear level area and chock the wheels.
NOTE: Check all fluid levels and adjust with proper replacement fluids if necessary before starting the engine.
NOTE: Start the engine according to the engine manufacturer's operating instruction for engine type and allow engine to
come to full operating speed before using the unit.
NOTE: When splitter is not in use, turn fuel valve off per engine manufacturer's manual
NOTE: Soak the bronze clutch bushing in light weight oil at the start of every season and after every 100 hours of use.
