Put the appliance on a firm surface.
Before using:
Fully unwind the lead.
Open the appliance.
Remove all packaging, labels or accessories from the inside and outside of the appliance.
Coat the plates lightly with cooking oil or spray with a non-stick aerosol.
Wipe with a soft cloth.
Using your appliance
Close the appliance.
Check that the switch is set at 0.
Connect the lead to the mains. Set the switch (f) to on (position 1). The red light (d) comes
on (1).
Leave the appliance to pre-heat: the green light (e) comes on when the cooking
temperature has been reached (2).
Open the appliance (3). Using a ladle, pour the waffle batter onto the lower plate of the
appliance.
Pour the batter taking care to cover each square and not to let it overflow.
Close the appliance.
Leave to cook for the time stated in the recipe.
While the waffles are cooking it is normal for the green light to switch on and off.
At the end of cooking, switch the appliance off by pressing 0. Then disconnect the plug.
Leave to cool for 2 hours.
Always disconnect the appliance before cleaning, and leave to cool completely.
Do not immerse the appliance.
To clean the exterior,
wipe with a damp cloth and dry.
To clean the interior,
wipe the plates with a damp cloth, some dishwashing soap may be used. Then wipe with a
wet sponge and dry carefully.
