mulch and also can cause the blower-vacuum to clog.
. If the leaves etc. are damp, then use the blower-vacuum in blow selection to pile the leaves etc. into one
area, then vacuum and mulch the leaves once they get dry.
. Avoid using the vacuum on areas where there are stones, or other hard objects. These objects will
damage the impellor of the blower-vacuum.
. It is also advisable not to allow the blower-vacuum to pick up soil. Soil generally contains moisture and
when combined with other garden debris can clog the blower-vacuum.
. The blower-vacuum is not a garbage disposal unit. Do not attempt to mulch any other material than
general garden debris.
. For better performance and comfort, it is recommended to empty the collection bag when it becomes
approximately half full. This reduces the weight and also allows the vacuum operation to perform at its
highest level.
5.2.4- Changing the function mode (Fig.7)
To change the machine from blower mode to vacuum mode, proceed as follows:
- switch off at the main switch and unplug from mains
- move the selector lever (11) to the required position.
a) Blow position (Fig.7a)
When the blower operation is selected, air is drawn up through the large tube
and then expelled at a much higher velocity in the lower cavity below the
blow/vacuum tube.
When the blower operation is selected, ensure the blower-vacuum is pointed,
directed and used in a safe manner. Do not direct the air flow from this
blower-vacuum directly or indirectly towards another person or animal.
b) Vacuum position (Fig.7b)
When the vacuum operation is selected, air and debris is drawn up through
the large tube, and forced through the mulching impellor.
The debris is mulched and then blown down into the collection bag.
Note: Always ensure the collection bag is correctly attached.
Always be aware of what is being drawn up into the blow/vacuum tube, as
this product is only designed for garden debris like leaves, twigs and garden
cuttings.
Important !
When using the blower/vacuum selector knob:
- Do not force the lever. The lever should move with very little resistance. If the lever is difficult to move,
disconnect the power supply, remove the collection bag and ensure debris, dirt or mud has not jammed the
lever inside the large round outlet.
- When selecting either of the operation, ensure the selector lever is fully in one position or the other, not half
way position.
5.2.5- Leaf bag (Fig.8)
Note: Before you remove and empty the leaf collection bag, ensure that
the machine has been disconnected from the mains power supply.
To empty the leaf collection bag, simply unzip the bag and empty it.
