Lubrication (Fig.11)
1. After use, carefully clean the blades
with a resin solvent.
2. After cleaning, apply a light film of
lubrication to the exposed blade.
3. Turn the trimmer vertical with the
blades toward the ground and run
the trimmer for a few seconds to fully disperse the lubrication.

4. Slide the sheath (G) over the blade until it snaps into place as
shown in Figure 11.
Replacing Blade (Fig. 1, 12–14)

BLADE REMOVAL
1. Remove battery.
2. Using a 4 mm hex bit, remove the
four cover screws (12A) and long blade/cover screw and washers
(12B) as shown in Figure 12. Retain screws and washers.
3. Pry the cover (12C) off by placing a flathead screwdriver under the
back of the cover (12D) and twisting.
4. Fully remove the blade
screw
and
washers
(13A), lift the front of the
blade (F) to disengage it
from the connection rod
(13B) and pull the blade
out of the trimmer.
