Check the fuel level. The machine must be filled with

lead free petrol. Do not use petrol/oil mixtures.
Fill with fuel and top up the engine oil if necessary. See
•
annexed Honda engine manual for detailed instructions.
For model with electric engine:
Check the level of the electrolyte fluid inside the battery
•
and top up if necessary.
Charge the battery.
•
7.6 Controls petrol engine model
7.6.1 Handlebar controls
The manual brake with brake lock is on the left handlebar. When
activated, the brake lock maintains the braking action after the
operator has stopped pressing the lever. It should be activated
whenever the machine is left unattended momentarily or at the end
of work.

7.6.2 Pedal controls
The right pedal operates the brake.
The left pedal raises the front flap. When the pedal is released, the
flap is lowered. The flaps are rubber strips surrounding the suction
surface on the floor. The front flap can be raised to allow the
passage of coarse material.
7.6.3
The left and right levers at the base of the handlebar adjust the
position of the respective side brushes. When the lever is pushed
forward, the brush is lowered into contact with the floor; when the
handlebar

for clarity.

There are four separate levers plus the key switch.

The lever at the back of the panel activates suction when moved to
the right. In the central position it turns suction off. When the lever is
pushed to the left, it activates the filter shaker function.
The internal combustion engine accelerator lever is at the front of
the panel. When pushed forward, it increases the rpm of the engine.
When moved backwards it slows the engine down to tick over.
