Insert the cable that comes from the interface through the provided opening at the back of the external unit (max. 14mm) (fig.2A).
Then mount the external unit to the wall (mounting holes, see fig.2B). Sealer is provided at the mounting holes and the cable inlet opening to prevent water
from oozing through.

Then connect the cable to the screw connector within the external unit. The above-mentioned color code helps you to correctly connect the external unit.
The external unit is provided with a connector for connection to the interface and a DIP switch for programming the address of the external unit.
The address on the external unit has to be identical to that of the interface to which the external unit is connected (see user manual interface).
Use terminal resistor
You always have to activate 2 terminal resistors in an installation (= DIP switch 4 switched to ON): 1 in an addressable bell push button (or external unit)
and 1 in an interface. If the installation contains several external units, activate the terminal resistor in the farthermost external unit. When using a video
switcher, connect the interface with activated terminal resistor to input SO1.
Place the front plate back and screw fix it with a suitable cross-screwdriver (fig.1).
