3 Placement

The best location for your device is a flat, dry surface in a ventilated room. Ensure that the unit
is placed securely so that no one can knock it over or injure themselves. Remember that a loca-
tion close to a heat source (radiator, underfloor heating, etc.) will reduce the cooling capacity
accordingly and increase electricity consumption.
ATTENTION: The device must not be placed on water- or damp-sensitive floor coverings or
furniture. If this is not possible, place the appliance in a water collecting tray. The appliance is
designed for use in the home.

4 Operation

Before putting the wine storage appliance into operation:
Remove the outer and inner packaging.
Make sure that the following parts are included:
- 3 shelves
- 1 user manual
Clean the inner surfaces with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
Place the appliance on a floor that is stable enough for the wine storage appliance with a full
load. Adjust the front feet on the bottom of the unit to level it.

5 Electrical connection

Attention
Improper handling of the grounding-type plug may result in a risk of electric shock. If the power
cord is damaged, have it replaced immediately by an authorized product service center.
The unit requires a standard 220 V-50 HZ power supply via an appropriate outlet. To avoid accidents
and injury, the cable should be secured behind the wine storage appliance and should not be expo-
sed or hanging.
