Transitioning Power States
Turn ON the Auto Charge:
Connect the batteries to the charger then connect AC
n
power at the source. The charger runs through a preset
charging cycle.
To put the Auto Charge in power saving mode:
Enable the Power save mode using the onboard control
n
panel (see Enabling or disabling Power saving mode on
page 48).
There is only ONE way to safely turn the Auto Charge off
(Disable):
1. Disconnect AC power at the source.
2. Disconnect all DC batteries.

ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD
Do not disassemble the battery charger. Internal capacitors
n
remain charged for five minutes after all power is
disconnected.
Disconnect both AC and DC power from the battery charger
n
before attempting any maintenance or cleaning or working
on any circuits connected to the battery charger. See note
below.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious
injury.
