Battery Qualification
The Auto Charge will perform a battery qualification on each
application of AC (or DC > 9 V), to determine if battery banks are
present and healthy.
To force a battery detection sequence,
1. Turn off AC and DC power sources.
2. Wait approximately 20 seconds or until all lights on the
charger or remote have gone out.
3. Turn on DC.
4. Turn on AC.
The charger will then perform a battery detection.
Temperature Considerations
The optional Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) protects your
battery and improves charging accuracy. Attach the BTS to the
warmest battery.
If no BTS is connected, the charger defaults to 25 °C.

Operating DC Loads
When the Auto Charge is operating, DC loads such as fans and
lights may vary in speed or intensity. This is normal. The Auto
Charge will not harm any load connected to it as long as the load
can withstand the 16V maximum voltage.
