4.2 Connection and operation

Before establishing or changing any connection, always switch off the speaker system
and the units to be connected!

Use the XLR jack or the 6.3 mm jack to connect a microphone.
Use the XLR jack or the RCA jacks to connect a line level signal

until the signals can be heard well. If an input or unit is not

used, set the corresponding control to "0".
Use this control to adjust the volume as desired. If the LED

indicator CLIP (18) lights up frequently, the speaker is over-
loaded; in this case, reduce the volume accordingly.
TREBLE (16) + BASS (17) Use these controls to adjust the tone.
4.3 MP3 player
To replay MP3 files, insert a USB flash drive into the USB port (3) and /or insert a
memory card into the slot SD CARD (5), notched corner of the card to the left and
facing the unit.
Note: Due to the large number of storage device manufacturers and device drivers, it cannot be
guaranteed that all storage media are compatible with the MP3 player.

4.4 Remote control

The MP3 player is supplied with power by means
of a 3 V button cell. If the remote control is deliv-
ered with the battery inserted, remove the pro-
tective film (used to prevent the battery from dis-
charging) from the battery support. The remote
control will then be ready for operation. When
pressing a button, always point the remote con-
trol at the IR sensor (2) of the player. Make sure
that there are no obstacles between the sensor
and the remote control.
Replacing the battery
1) Push the latch of the battery holder to the
right (arrow 1 in the figure below) and remove
the holder (arrow 2).
2) Remove the discharged battery and insert the
new battery (3 V button cell of type CR 2025)
with the positive pole facing upwards.
3) Push the holder back into the remote control.
