Checking precision
Caution!
The power tool may be adjusted
by authorised technicians only.
Vertical precision
n Attach a standard plumb-bob just in front
of a wall or create a similar reference.
n Place the machine in front of the
reference and switch on the vertical
beam V1.
Compare vertical line and reference.
– Maximum deviation: 0.6 mm/m
n Rotate the machine by 90° and repeat
the process with vertical beam V2.
Horizontal precision
Requirement for exact check:
– Vertical precision checked and within the
tolerance
– 2 parallel walls, distance approx. 10 m
– Height-adjustable tripod, etc..
n Place machine in front of wall A
– Mark vertical laser line by 2 points V.
– Mark 2 points A1 and A2 for the
horizontal beam H at a distance of 1 m
to the vertical.
n Rotate the machine by 180° and repeat
the process on the opposite wall
– 2 points V for the vertical line
– 2 points B1 and B2 for the horizontal
laser line same as above
n Place the machine in front of wall B and
align in such a way that the horizontal
and vertical beams correspond as
exactly as possible with the marks B1,
B2 and V
.
16
:
n Rotate the machine by 180° and align
the vertical laser line to the marks V.
– Mark 2 points A3 and A4 for the
horizontal laser line at a distance
of 1 m to the vertical.
.
n Determine the distance between the
points A1 and A3 and between A2
and A4.
– Maximum deviation: 6 mm
Note
A difference between the two values X1
and X2 denotes that
– the self-levelling device is defective
– the beams H and V1 are not
perpendicular to each other.
