INSTRUCTION MANUAL
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are
present, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
DANGER – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTROCUTION:
1. Always unplug this appliance immediately after using.
2. Do not use while bathing.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled
into a tub of sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
5. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug
immediately.
WARNING – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS,
ELECTROCUTION, FIRE OF INJURY TO PERSONS:
1. An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by,
on, or near children or invalids.
3. Use this appliance only for its intended household use
as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug,
if it is not working properly. If it has been dropped or damaged
or dropped into water. Return the appliance to a Service Center
for examination and repair.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
6. Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a
soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings
may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair etc..
7. Never use while sleeping.
8. Never drop or insert any object into any opening and hose.
9. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products
are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
10. Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat sensitive areas.
11. Attachements may be hot during use. Allow them to cool before
handling.
12. Do not use near tubs, basins or other vessels containing water.
13. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
14. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
15. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
16. When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use
since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the
hairdryer is switched off.
17. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current
device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not

exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying
the bathroom. Ask your installer for advise.

OPERATION
Switching on
•
Unwind the power cable and plug into the mains socket and
switch on.
•
Set the switch to the required settings (1, 2 or C).
•
Position 2 is more heater than position 1.
•
C = Cool function
Switching off
•
When you have finished, set the switch to the off (0) position.
OPERATION - STYLING GUIDE
Your hair should be dry or very nearly dry when using the styler.
Separate the strands of hair to be curled and gently brush it free
of tangles.
1. Towel blot hair to remove excess moisture. Divide your hair into
sections. Using the dryer along with the styling brush, direct
hot air through a section of hair at a time. Move dryer steadily
across each section so that hot air passes through hair. Direct
air flow at hair, not scalp.
2. Keep dryer's air intake vents unobstructed and free from hair
while dryer.
3. To avoid over-drying, do not concentrate heat on any one
section for any length of time. Keep the dryer moving as you
style.
4. For quick styling, dampen hair with a mist of water before
styling with the dryer.
HINT: Always experiment on a small area of hair first to ensure you
achieve the results you want.
CLEANING AND CARE
1. The appliance must be unplugged before cleaning.
2. Let the appliance cool down before touching or cleaning the
body.
3. Clean the housing with a soft dry cloth.
4. Do not use any harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents or
cleaners. Never immerse in water to clean.
