GYROLED® M130 is supplied with a connector kit equipped with 4 screen-printed wires. 4 pins MINIFIT MOLEX not
wired. The connector is equipped with the 4 basic operating wires (Power " + " and " - ", Mode Selection, GYROLED®
Night), the other pins supplied separately correspond to the connector pin numbers and are associated with operating
options (Synchronization and Cruise).
To select one of the 13 available Flash modes, power up the GYROLED® M130 then apply pulses to the " +Battery "
on wire n°4 until the desired mode is reached. This mode remains memorized even if the power supply of the
GYROLED® M130 is disconnected.
Note: In order to facilitate the identification of the Flash modes, mode n°13 is the one which only lights the upper led
located at the top of the light.
The NIGHT function is used to limit the light output of the light during night-time operation.
The CRUISE function switches the light to dimmed and fixed mode when the vehicle is on patrol.
The choice of location for the installation of a GYROLED® M130 on a vehicle must meet the requirements of the
regulations for light signaling installations.
The GYROLED® M130 must be positioned vertically so that the light beam is projected on a horizontal plane.
It is also very important to ensure certain proximity rules with other equipment. Thus, the GYROLED® M130 must be
installed more than 30 centimeters away from any radio or telephone equipment (transmitter-receiver, cables, antennas,
filters).
It is imperative to respect the dimensioning of the electrical harnesses, in diameter and length, in order to maintain the
effectiveness of the line protection (Fuse). We therefore recommend the use of 1mm² cross-section wires for the supply
wires.
The protective fuse must be positioned at the head of the line as close as possible to the battery. Its value must take
into account the consumption of the installed equipment as well as the length of the line itself (2A for 12 volts; 1A for
24 volts).
The connections of the GYROLED® M130 must be crimped properly using the appropriate tooling.
