4.3 Selecting temperature
To operate the underblanket first connect the switch to the radiator by plugging in the connec-
tor. Plug the power cord into the mains outlet.
The quickest way to heat up the heated underblanket is to first select the highest setting. If it is
to be used for several hours, we then recommend setting the lowest temperature.
4.4 Temperature settings
0 = Off
1 = Minimum heat
2 = Medium heat
3 = Maximum heat
4.5 Additional instructions UB 60
This heat underblanket switches off automatically after approximately 3 hours.
The red indicator light on the switch is illuminated while the heat underblanket is being heated.
After the switch-off time expires, the underblanket is no longer heated and the red indicator
light starts flashing. To heat the underblanket again, first set the switch to zero '0' (off) for
approx. 5 seconds and then select the required temperature. If the heated underblanket is no
longer used after timeout, it should be switched off (setting '0') or else disconnected from the
mains.
5. Cleaning and care

mains plug from the socket and unplug the plug-in coupling and
thereby the switch from the electric underblanket.
The switch must never be submerged in water or other liquids.
To clean the electric underblanket and switch, use a dry, lint-free
cloth. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
Small spots can be removed with a cloth or damp sponge and if
necessary a little mild liquid detergent.
The electric underblanket is machine-washable. Set the washing machine to an extra-delicate
wash cycle, at 30 °C (for instance a wool cycle – low mechanical stress, washing machine drum
filled to low level). Use a delicate laundry detergent and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Note that the electric underblanket must not be dry cleaned, wrung out, machine dried or ironed.
Note that the electric underblanket will suffer from too frequent washing. For its entire life, there-
fore, the electric underblanket should be washed not more than 5 times in a washing machine.
Do not hang up the electric underblanket with clothes pegs or similar to dry it.
On no account switch on the electric underblanket to dry it.
