Cause
1. Check all tubing and fittings for proper assembly.
2. Tighten compression nut at 1/8" tubing connection.
3. If air leak persists:
a. Remove the two screws securing the foot button escutcheon and check the
1/8" elbow connection behind the pushbutton assembly.
b. Make sure the screw holding the elbow is tight and the fitting in the elbow is
firmly hand tightened.
c. Make sure the fitting is pushed firmly into the elbow.
4. If air leak persists:
a. Disconnect the tubing by pressing down on the plastic ring at the top of the
fitting and pulling it out.
b. Trim 1/2" off squarely with a razor-knife.
c. Push tubing back into the connector until firmly seated.
5. If leak still persists:
a. Loosen the compression nut on the air valve inside the pedestal.
b. Pull out the 1/8" tubing and trim 1/2" off squarely with a razor-knife.
c. Push tubing back into the valve until firmly seated and hand-tighten the
compression nut.
1. Unscrew the valve clamp nut on the top of the foot valve.
2. Remove valve cover. If the diaphragm/magnet assembly comes out with the cover,
gently peel the diaphragm away from cover, taking care not to damage it. Inspect
the diaphragm for any holes or tears. If damaged, replace it.
3. Insert the diaphragm/magnet assembly back into the valve, but leave the cover off.
4. Gently press the diaphragm fully. If the valve does not activate, the entire
diaphragm/magnet assembly needs to be replaced.
