Initiation
1. Electric connection must be carried out according to local rules. The device needs a fuse od 10A
minimum. But a 16A fuse is recommended since the full input power is about 2,3 kW. The 3kW
version always needs a 16A fuse with full input power of 3,3kW.
2. Use 38 mm inside diameter hose for water connections. Place hose connections so that they can be
easily checked and adjusted.
3. Install ball valves to the inlet and outlet of the device. So it will be easy to stop circulation for
maintenance (Image 1).
4. The suction and outlets of the pool must be connected according to the pool manual (Image 2&
Image 3). NOTICE! There must be at least to outlets in the pool that can feed the pump.
5. Threaded connections without o-ring need sealing tape on the outher thread. Tighten the threads by
hand only and avoid overtightening.
6. Internal piping is built in so that the water flows through inlet into the pump with filter and then
through the flow switch to device outlet.
7. Check all connection for leakage before use.
8. Water usually heats up 1,5-2 °C/m³. Depending significantly on surrounding conditions. There will
always be a maximum temperature difference between pool water and surrounding air that depends
from the pool size and other things. So for example with enough wind and cold temperature the
water temperature does not necessarily reach the set temperature.
9. The device has two holes on the bottom to let possible water in the casing out. There are two
connectors for those holes, if you want to lead that water longer away you can use those together
with compatible hose.

Winterization
When the system is taken out from usage for winter it shall be carefully emptied.
1) Remove valves & hose from the device.
2) Open the drain plug on the heater. Let it run dry.
3) remove the filter cartridge according to the instructions.
4) Tilt the device so that the hose connections are lower and the remaining water from the pump runs
out.
5) Dry the filter casing from the inside with cloth.
