PRECAUTIONS IN HANDLING THE BT MODEL
■ This printer has the security function conforming to the Bluetooth standards to
keep the security at the time of communication using Bluetooth function. In some
case, however, the security function may not be satisfactory depending on the
content of the setting.
Be careful when you make a communication using the Bluetooth function.
■ Note that Citizen Systems is not responsible for any leakage of data or information
in the communication using the Bluetooth function.
■ The frequency band used in this printer is also used for home appliances such as
microwave oven, industrial, scientific and medical equipment, intercommunication
radio station for identifying mobile unit requiring the license used in the
manufacturing line of factories, specific small power radio station requiring no
license, amateur radio station, etc. (hereinafter "other radio stations").
1. Before using this printer, check to be sure that "other radio station" is not in
service nearby the printer.
2. If any radio interference should occur between this printer and "other radio
station", quickly change the printer location or turn the printer power off to
remove radio interference.
Observe the following precautions for daily maintenance.
■ When cleaning the printer, always turn it off and unplug it from the supply outlet.
■ Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning the surface of the printer case.
■ For severe stains, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water.
■ Never use organic cleaning solvent such as alcohol, paint thinner, trichloroethylene,
benzene, or ketone. Never use a chemically processed cleaning cloth.
■ To remove paper dust, use a soft brush.
■ When transporting the printer, remove the paper roll from the printer.
CAUTION
• The thermal head is at a dangerously high temperature immediately after printing.
Allow it to cool off before launching maintenance work.
