1. General
Please carefully read the instructions in this user manual before using the lifting clamp. If you have any

2. Applications

The pewag BCW/BCW-A clamps are specifically designed for vertical lifting and transporting concrete tubes and
pits. The moveable pressure plate includes a wear-resistant synthetic coating. Always use the BCW/BCW-A clamps
in pairs or per 3 clamps.

3. Operating instructions

Place the pewag BCW/BCW-A clamps accurately on the edge of the concrete tube in such a way that the housing
is completely over the concrete up to the end of the depth of the jaws. Lift the load slowly. Upon reaching the
destination, lower the load gradually onto a firm underground. Lower the crane hook until the clamps are completely
free of the load, in other words, the lifting chains are no longer taught and the clamp can move freely. Push the
pressure plate down while holding the frame. Now the clamp is open and can be removed from the concrete tube.
