In order to fix the angle of inclination of the saddle, check the angle of the saddle
(angle of inclination marking). If the angle is correct, firmly grip the seat post with
one hand and pull it out of the frame being careful not to change the angle (Fig.
C). Do not pull on the saddle, as this will alter your adjustment. Now tighten up
the lock screw with a torque of 6 to 7 Nm, using a torque wrench (Fig. D). Do
not exceed the maximum torque of 7 Nm. If you need to adjust the saddle angle
at a future date, please ensure that you follow the instructions in this manual.
Ensure that Carbon Assembly Paste is applied between the leaf springs.
The CF3 seat post may not be used without the lock screw. Apply a
tightening torque of 6-7 Nm.
Twist minimally so as
to avoid scoring and
damaging the post.
