Operation

Description of the Appliance
1 Power cord with plug
2 Connection G1(33.3mm) Pressure pipe
3 Filling nozzle
4 Connection G1(33.3mm) Suction pipe
5 Drain opening
6 ON/OFF switch
7 Screw-in nozzle G1" (33.3 mm)
Preparing the Appliance

 Bring the on/off switch to position "0".

 Screw in the connection nozzle.
 Connect suction and pressure pipes us-
ing Kärcher special accessory G1
(33.3mm).

 Unscrew the lid of the filling nozzle and
fill in water till it overflows.
 Screw on the lid on the filling nozzle.
Operation
 Insert the mains plug into the socket.

 Tip: Raise the suction hose by approx.
1m to reduce the suction period.
 Switch on the unit with the ON/OFF
switch (position 1).
 Wait till the pump sucks in and trans-
ports water uniformly
Caution
The water in the pump heats up if there is
no water supply or the pressure side is
closed and can cause injury if it flows out!
The pump may be operated for maximum 3
minutes in this operating status.
Finish operation
 Rinse the pump after every use if you
use to transport water with additives.
 Turn off the appliance.
 Disconnect the main plug from the
socket.

Danger
Turn off the appliance and remove the
mains plug prior to any care and mainte-
nance work.
 Empty water in the pump using the
drain screw (item 5).
 Store the appliance in a frost free area.
The appliance is maintenance-free.
Caution
In order to prevent accidents or injuries,
keep in mind the weight of the appliance
during transport (see Specifications).
When transporting by hand
 Lift appliance by the carrying handle
and carry it.
When transporting in vehicles
 Secure the appliance against shifting
and tipping over.
Caution
In order to prevent accidents or injuries,

when selecting a storage location for it (see
Specifications).
Storing the Appliance
 Empty water in the pump using the
drain opening (item 5).
 Store the appliance in a frost free area.
