Electrical Connections

- Check alla electrical connections in terms of proper connection
- Voltage and frequency of power supply from the network must coincide
with the data shown in the data plate of the appliance
- System grounding must precede all other electrical connections.
Check that the appliance is connected to a correctly grounded electrical circuit
(no hydraulic or heating system pipes or ground connections for phone cables
must be used to ground the installation)
- Verify the presence of a surge protection device on main power line and
of circuit breakers connected to external and internal unit control boxes
- Compare the wiring diagram to the system and make sure that this is compliant

with legal standards
- Verify the tightness of connections
- Make sure that the system is properly dimensioned to support the power
consumption of the installed units (check dataplates)
- Carry out the electrical connections with the aid of a fi xed supply connection
(no mobile sockets) and equipped with a bipolar switch
- Verify that thermal cutouts / diff erential circuit breakers are correctly
dimensioned (technical indications in this manual)
- Check that the electrical installation is compliant to standards
- Check that the electrical installation is like planned and correspond to
information given in this manual

First Ignition

- All refrigerant cycle activities are successfully fi nished
- External unit powered, then internal unit powered
- Check the Bus connection between IDU, ODU and HMI (Remocon Plus)
- All shut-off valves must be correctly opened
- Water system properly fi lled
- Parameters confi guration procedure shown on the interface must be
correctly performed (language, date and time, country, zone number, hydraulic
scheme, comfort function, heating mode parameters)
- Check that default parameters settings (inside Technical Area)

correspond to the characteristics of the specifi c installation
(in particular, pay attention to selecting the correct temperature range for
the diff erent zones. See the installation manual for information about parameters)
- Air Purge of Water System must be properly performed
(by selecting parameter 17.8.0 on the Remocon Plus Menu
perform this cycle only after setting all other parameters!)
- Perform a fi rst test by activating the heat request from the remocon PLUS:
- The circulation pump is activated (green LED on)
- The outdoor unit's fan is activated
- There must be no operation noise nor for the external neither for the internal unit
(for example, compressor must run smoothly)

- There must be no structure-borne vibrations (and consequent noise)
